Sound Detection Sensor Module

The module is built around a high-sensitivity electret microphone and an LM393 comparator. The microphone captures sound waves and converts them into an electrical signal. The comparator then compares this signal to a reference voltage, which you can set using the onboard blue potentiometer. When the sound level exceeds your set threshold, the digital output (OUT) pin changes state, providing a simple HIGH/LOW signal that your microcontroller can easily read.
Onboard LEDs for power and output status provide immediate visual feedback, making it simple to calibrate and test your setup. This module is designed to detect the presence or absence of sound, not to differentiate frequencies or act as a high-fidelity microphone.
