The standout feature of this board is its powerful onboard power regulation circuit. With a DC barrel jack and a high-performance voltage regulator, you can power your SIM800L from a standard DC power adapter (5V-12V) instead of needing a specific LiPo battery. This makes prototyping and building permanent installations much simpler and more reliable.
The board breaks out all essential pins from the SIM800L module, including UART for serial communication, microphone and speaker pins for voice calls, and other control pins. An onboard jumper allows you to select the logic level (5V or 3.3V), ensuring safe and easy connection to any microcontroller, from an Arduino Uno to an ESP32 or Raspberry Pi.
Important Note: This is a carrier board only. The SIM800L module itself is not included and must be purchased and soldered separately.
